S460
The steel cross-section profiles of S460 are produced by automated laser welding (S460M or S460J0 according to European standard EN 10025:2004), a welding process that affects the chemical composition of the material and thereby increases the yield strength.
S460 steel structure profiles are mainly used for:
- pillars of multi-story building
- Beams for short and medium span bridges
- Diagonals and chords of trusses
